In rural areas of China, including Henan province, thousands of girls face barriers that prevent them from accessing basic menstrual health products — with serious consequences for their education and wellbeing.
Many families in rural areas cannot afford basic sanitary products, leaving girls without essential health supplies.
Girls miss school days during their periods due to lack of products, falling behind academically and losing confidence.
Social taboos around menstruation prevent open discussion, making it harder to address the problem directly.

Co-founded by two students — one in North Carolina, one in Boston — this project is entirely youth-led, from fundraising to distribution, driven by young people who believe change starts with action.
